Hi flyway here you can find info:
https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ej%C3%A9rcito_del_Aire_(Espa%C3%B1a)#Unidades,_Centros_y_Organismos
Where you see ICAO is airbase sure, in "Ala" or "escuadrón" you can see that there are fleet based, can be transport, fighter jets, trainers, paratroopers, etc. https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ej%C3%A9rcito_del_Aire_(Espa%C3%B1a)#Aeronaves

Hey Spark,
Found first and usefull info here;
http://www.ejercitodelaire.mde.es/EA/ejercitodelaire/en/Organization/Unit-Maps/
It seems same source as you posted.
About wikipedia... not sure all is true and up to date..
Thanks anyway.
Cheers.
The information of the wikipedia is quite correct, as far as I know at least.
The link you have written shows you all the units, whether or not they are airfields. You could use the wikipedia table as a list and check it with other sources.
Anyway, someone may know more about the subject and I can confirm your listing. ![]()
Thank you Spark.
Cheers.

Am sure there must to be here who knows which are currently the Spanish airbases ![]()
Hi, sorry for the late answer. Since the web does't work on tapatalk...
You did pointed it out, Gando should be an air base for sure!
Melilla has never been an air base but it can give some play to the game (not needed IMHO).
Valencia was an airbase and can be used if needed. It could be very good for an historic campaign.
I agree with the rest.
Merry Christmas!
Thank you MrWell for your input.
Your information seem to match my sources... ![]()
About Melilla, yes, it was considered an airbase somewhere, but I had my doubts. In anycase, considered it to be in higher position for 201VFS POH version.
Valencia and Reus... same. I think they are not active anymore, but they are also good points for navigation and thats why I kept them considered as airbases.
All airbases in POH_201VFS, will have priority regarding Airbase type (cannot be airstripes), Tacan Channels and Comms Freqs.
Cheers, and Merry Christmas.
Sevilla airport seems to me that also have a military area. Am not talking about Moron although...
So will consider it also as an airbase.
Do you guys agree ?
Sevilla don't have airbase (tipical with runway etc, except Morón 111Sq.), only have a helicopter base ("El copero") and a quartering.
Tablada is a abandoned runway since 1990.
Hey Spark, thanks for your input.
Will not consider it as an airbase, that way.
Got in doubts, because, latest google earth images show some cargo airplanes parked on the south side. Maybe theres a big maintenance facilities there or something like that... thou.
Thank you mate.
Oh, ok, Now I have realized what you were referring to. Airbus military have a factory, There they manufacture or assemble the A400m for example, I saw some times in the past flying near of my house. So cargo planes are from factory.
Hello guys,
For you knowledgement.
The main Freq in LERT(Rota) is 257.8 and not the 306.850 (is the secondary one).
Copy Kafete, thanks for your input.
That frequency will conflict with Gran Canaria, in POH.
Has been any change in Gran Canaria freq?
In falcon cannot co-exist 2 instances of same freq for TWR comms
