Preguntas y Respuestas y video sobre DCS: World / F/A-18C / 9 de agosto de 2015

Primero, os pongo el enlace al video del dia 9 de Agosto del presente.

 

 

 

 

Y las noticias sobre Eagle Dinamics aparecidos en el video (Mi ingles no es para tirar cohetes, asi que pido disculpas por la traducción de "garrafon"):

- Mucho del trabajo actual está en completar el L-39, añadiendo nuevos sonidos propios, nuevos skins, arreglar e integrar sistemas, instrumentos, interructores y subsistemas a la cabina y se ha comenzado a trabajar en algunas misiones y en la documentación. Se espera que la beta este en algun punto de septiembre de este año.

- Se sigue trabajando en la cabina del F/A-18C Hornet, y se está arreglando en HMD, ademas de otras incorrecciones gracias a la información suministrada por la comunidad, y el unico gran problema que queda son conseguir buenas imagenes de referencia del asiento de ejección. En el video se muestran nuevas imagenes de la cabina, lo unico es que la simbologia que se ve, que hay que ignorar, es la del Su-27, ya que se ha usado estos datos como base cuando se desarrolla una cabina y sus sistemas, como estandar pero que se va suprimiendo por el nuevo a medida que se avanza en el desarrollo.

- En el modelo de vuelo del F-15, se estan haciendo avance, gracias a los datos del SMS, que permiten mejorar la dinamica del angulo de ataque y el rendimiento del timon. Este se colocará dentro del codigo muy pronto, se espera que el AFM final del F-15 pueda ser añadido con la 1.5.

- El equipo trabaja en el nuevo GUI de DCS: W, con uno de sus grandes puntos ya comentado es la integración de la parte 3D del simulador en los menus, ya que DCS: W ahora es un solo ejecutable. Hay planes para nuevos añadidos a la enciclopedia, en particular, se ha mejorado la pantalla de armamentos en la que ahora se puede añadir tanto el armamento como los skins y pulsando un boton, se podrá ver el aparato en la pantalla del editor de misiones antes de que se tenga que pulsar el boton de comienzo de misión. Esto podrá ser muy util para los equipos privados.

 

Un apunte personal de Wags, ha instalado Windows 10, y a notado una mejora de rendimiento con DCS: W 1.5/2. No ha tenido problema con sus mandos de vuelo (Tiene un Thursmaster HOTAS)

 

Q&A (Preguntas y respuestas):

P - Wags habia comentado en un video anterior que NTTR nevada vendría con la posibilidad de la vista 3D para colocar objetos en en editor de misiones, se pregunta si esta capacidad estará disponible para el mapa del caucaso:

R - Absolutamente, basicamente es la misma tecnologia (el motor), y no habrá ningun problema para los mapas futuros en esta nueva capacidad, esperamos que esta tecnologia se añada al mapa del mar negro en la versión 1.5.

 

P - Se ha mencionado la integración del sistema de HTC de valve progresa adecuadamente y que se iba a dar detalles del las dos pantallas, objetos y distancias.

R - Por ahora, los kits de desarrollo estan en moscu y por ahora, dos semanas es demasiado pronto para poner información sobre este dispositivo. Se pondrá un post en la sección de controladores cuando se tenga mas información.

 

P - Con el lanzamiento de la versión 1.5 en septiembre, si todos los bugs de los aviones actuales y del loogbook se van a ser corregidos y las nuevas misiones del editor incluidas en el.

R - DCS: W 1.5 es esencialmente DCS: W 2 sin los nuevos mapas, se ha testeado el logbook y funciona bien, ademas de varias cuestiones nuevas, pero no todo lo que esta en la lista de capacidades de DCS: W 2 va a venir incluidas en la versión 1.5.

 

P - Como podrá ocurrir la actualización 1.5 si esta es solo un Alfa / Beta en septiembre y como será afectada la versión de Steam en este caso.

R - La versión 1.5 será lanzada como las otras versiones beta abiertas. Va a haber la opción de instalar la versión Open beta de la 1.5 y eventualmente la versión 1.5 se actualizará a la version 2, y cuando haya una versión estable de estas, se sacará dicha versión. Es el mismo sistema que se usaba anteriormente, solo que ahora serán mas grandes comparados con los antiguos.

 

P- En Streams previos se menciono nuevos efectos de explosiones, pero estos han quedado atras.

R- Si, han quedado atras, pero uno de los puntos mas importantes es que nosotros podemos hacer las explosiones mas bonitas y las mejores renderizaciones de nubes, pero esto sería totalmente inutil, si esto crea un impacto masivo en el rendimiento, en si, el equipo del nuevo motor grafico trabaja en los nuevos efectos, pero que estos funciones bien con el rendimiento.

 

P- El servidor dedicado se lanzara con la 1.5

R- Problablemente no. Tenemos una larga lista de cosas que estan por venir, pero posiblemente no la veamos en la versión open beta pero posiblemente cuando se haga final o en algun punto posterior.

 

P- Eagle Dinamics tiene un antiguo piloto de Mig-31, podemos esperar un modulo del Mig-25 FoxBat de la serie P o R en un futuro cercano.

R- No, no hay planes sobre ello, y honestamente, y las preguntas sobre nuevos aviones o capacidades, este no es el lugar, y sería mejor colocar este tipo de preguntas en la lista de deseos. Podemos decir que no hay un Mig-25 planeado en este momento, y podemos decir que hay aparatos mas interesante y mas versatiles aparatos que cualquier aparato que les gustaria.

 

P- Podrá venir DCS: W 1.5 con ATC mejorado

R- La versión 1.5 ha tenido un monton de trabajo, y se centra en el espacio tecnico y nosotros estamos haciendo debug con la ayuda de mensajes de texto, y estamos en el proceso de grabar todo para integrarlo en el servidor de mensajes, con una cantidad masiva de trabajo. Probablemente veamos el nuevo ATC en una versión tardia de la Open Beta de DCS: W 2, Mientras tanto, muchos de los equipos siguen usando el viejo sistema mientras trabajamos en el nuevo sistema.

 

P- Habeis comenzado un patrocinio con Thursmaster para un mando basado en el modulo del F-18, pienso que sería mejor que el del A-10.

R- Hay posibilidades, Nosotros siempre estamos abiertos a trabajar con los creadores de hardware, con mandos que sean acordes con el software, y creemos que podemos colaborar tanto con Thursmaster como con otro creador de hardware.

 

P- Sobre los nuevos iconos de visibilidad.Si estos se pueden aplicar tanto a aviones como a unidades de tierra.

R- Se aplican tanto a aviones como a las unidades de tierra.

 

Wags comenta que hasta la salida de la 1.5, se va a centrar en videos el el mapa del mar negro / caucaso, para no crear confusión de que la 1.5 incluya algun mapa nuevo con NTTR.

 

El vuelo de hoy fue en el L-39C (con acompañante en formación) sobre el mapa del mar negro. Se ve detalles en el L-39 como la subida del asiento y el angulo del HUD de la mira, ademas de una nueva textura del L-39. Wags pasa al asiento de atras (subiendo un poco el asiento) y activa la cortina para entrenamiento IFR que estará disponible durante la campaña del entrenamiento del L-39.

 

Otra de las cuestiones implementadas en la turbina de aire, que se despliega automaticamente si nos quedamos sin motor y potencia en el aire (Wags corta el motor para que veamos como se despliega y se anima con la fuerza del aire sobre ella, despues realiza el rearranque del APU y el motor, cuando este está ya en linea, el RAT vuelve a retraerse en el fuselaje.

 

Segun se ve en el video, la zona de Senaki-Sochi ha sido mejorada.

El escuadron ruso ClanOfAces pone otro Stream del L-39 sobre el caucaso en DCS: World 1.5

 

Tienen activado el contador de FPS, este no baja de 60 Frames por segundo, ademas indican la configuración del ordendor:

Intel Core i7 3820 3.6 GHz

8 GB RAM 1333 MHz

Nvidia 780 GTX

 

Y tambien la configuración de DCS: W (parece que está todas las opciones al maximo). Es posible que ordenadores con menor configuración puedan mantener estables 30 FPS.

What follows is a preliminary changelog of DCS World 1.5. Because 1.5 is being built from a new branch of our code, we cannot account for changes made in earlier branches. As such, we had to create much of this changelog based on memory and older bug tracking reports. 
 
Because of this and that we will probably be adding or modifying items, this changelog is very preliminary and subject to change during the Open Beta period. Also please note that we are still awaiting changelog items for most of the BST modules.
 
As items are added or modified, they will be highlighted in red.
 
As for the status of releasing the 1.5 Open Beta, we have good news: we created the 1.5 branch (release version) today. Just as soon as we complete smoke testing, we will release it.

Unit.getPlayerName() is now functional on ground units and will return a player’s name if they are directly controlling the unit via Combined Arms.
Many new countries have been added. These countries are not yet populated with units, although they have access to all static object and fortifications objects available, along with aircraft that are DCS modules. These countries include: Austria, Belarus, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, China, Croatia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, India, Iran, Iraq, Japan, Kazakhstan, North Korea, Pakistan, Poland, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Slovakia, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, Syria, and USAF Aggressors. These countries are also added to the logbook with a few already populated with ranks and squadrons.
Sound files triggered to play over a radio frequency now works correctly.
Static ships will no longer only face east. They will respect the direction specified in the mission editor.
 
Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Aircraft use smarter holding point logic for landings
AI planes now land in two-ships and can a make straight approach even if starting velocity is too high at landing IP. The first pair lands using a direct approach and second will maintain a holding pattern. After first pair lands, the second pair will make their approach.
AI using cranks after BVR shots to extend F and A poles
Improved AI weapon system logic. AIs will more accurately estimate AAM percentage chance of kill (Pk). This is intended to prevent situations where missiles bled energy pursuing targets with low Pk.
Improved AI logic of follow-on missile (AIM-120B/C, R-27 series, AIM-7, AIM-54 and R-33) shot if it determines the prior shot has been trashed
Added antiship task to Su-17, Su-25 and MiG-27
4 v 2 ACM tactics have been improved. Both elements will now take part in the fight
AI formations will now make altitude changes more smoothly, thus allowing with wingmen to more easily stay in formation
Cruise missiles have much better terrain following guidance now
Improved AI use of JDAMs. AI can now drop bombs on multiple targets on a single pass.
Fixed Patriot so it now re-arms if near a warehouse
Changed M-109 reload time to be less insane. Was 7000 seconds, now 3600 seconds.

a couple of notes about 1.5:
 
- We won't build 32-bit binaries anymore. The users of 32-bit systems will stop getting the updates. Steam users will have to switch to a special 'beta' to keep using 32-bit DCS (locked at 1.2.16).
- Netcode improvements will come later 
- ServMan support is currently broken but will be restored. This will require some minor work on ServMan part. ServMan maintainters are welcome to PM me.
- The infamous network 'integrity check' was removed and will be replaced with a different tech.

Being that it is September 30th today, I wanted to give you a little update. The team spent all day today trying to assemble and release the Open Beta, but despite our best efforts, we had some assembly failures. Just as soon as we can resolve these errors, we will release the Open Beta.

Parece que hay un error en la descarga de un fichero, a mí me pasó ayer, se quedaba siempre a unos 50mb y daba el error de servidores llenos, y al final es por esto que pongo en el link, una misión de entrenamiento del SU25 que está equivocada.

 

Seguid lo que dice este link a ver si funciona, a mí me fue perfecto.
