Acabo de descubrir gracias a un soplo que la cabina del F-15C de FC3 ha sido actualizada con varios cientos de conectores incluidos en los controles actuales de dicha cabina. Quien sabe, tal vez un primer paso hacia los "planes" de Belsimtek con un F-15C "harcore", a ver que pasa.

Falsa alarma, confirmada por Skatezilla, perdon a todos por la equivocación. El numero de conectores ya estaba presente desde hace varios años.

 

He checheado las cabinas del otros apartaos (Su-27 y Mig-29A) cantidad de conectores muy limitada y falta gran parte de las animaciones en varios controles.

Racoon y Yo-Yo hablan del nuevo modelo de daños (DM) en desarrollo por ED:


 

Este vendrá despues del Spitfire MkIX, para los cuatro aparatos de la WW2 disponibles (P-51D, Fw-190D-9, Bf-109K-4 y el Spitfire Mk-IX), las 3rd parties se pueden unir a la "fiesta" (Veao a comentado que integrará dicho DM en el P-40F, Spirtire MkXIV y Bearcat a su devido tiempo).

 

Como cosas interesantes:

- Parte del antiguo equipo de Il-2/CloD participa en el desarrollo del DM (integrado dentro de ED).

- Un P-51B IA vendrá en el futuro.

- Por ahora el nuevo DM no tendrá efecto en la cabina.

- Los bombarderos de la WW2 están en producción como IA por el momento

- El nuevo DM será un sistema que se podrá implementar en cualquier unidad del simulador

- Calculo real de penetración de proyectiles perforantes (por ahora la primera - segunda capa y propagación por el modelo).

- Se introduce calculos de daño por impacto, dependiendo si es AP (perforante) / HE (explosivos), tambien explosiones en superficie o sumergidas y rebotes sobre superficies si son aplicables.

- explosiones internas y externas en los tanques de combustible y ratio de escape de combustible según los impactos recibidos u otra naturaleza.

- Hay fallos hidraulicos (como actualmente), pero dependerán de cada aparato, pudiendo impedir el despliegue del tren de aterrizaje, que necesitará realizarse mecanicamente, El nuevo DM permitirá daños mas detallados como por ejemplo, daños en las bombas de hidraulico, etc.

- No se han implementado efectos de atontamiento del piloto por explosiones cercanas (me imagino que de momento).

- Efectos de incendio gradual en un avion.

 

Segun skatezilla se asume la perdida de refrigerante, aceite, combustible y los efectos de su perdida.

Caucasus Map for 2.5 Update - 23 July 2016
 
Dear all,
 
I have a little news for you on the updated Caucasus map for DCS World 2.5. A key part of DCS World 2.5 will be the unification of the Caucasus and Nevada maps (and all other future maps). In order to do this, we first need to update the Caucasus map to the T4 map standard (as the Nevada map is).
 
Initially, we planned just to update the file structure and field textures, but we later decided to greatly expand on that. Because the Caucasus often servers as the first impression for new DCS World users, we feel it important to have a more substantial update that matches map quality to vehicle module quality. While the attached summer season images are still very much Work-In-Progress (with a lot of fixes, tuning and some pretty big changes to still come), they do provide a glimpse of where we are going.
 
In the attached images, you may notice the following: updated / higher resolution textures for almost all terrain surfaces, airfields, and ground objects; new tree system for both forests and “urban areasâ€; much greater population of forested areas; several new ground objects with improved geometry detail; deferred lighting system; new water renderer; procedural grass; corrected river and lake parallax; and improved shadows. We also hope to include a higher resolution terrain elevation mesh, but no promises on that. In previous images, we showed off how the updated map is looking from “squirrel cam†level, but today we thought we’d raise the camera up a bit.
 
Once the map update is near final with concreate poured, we can provide more details. However, prior to then, too much can still change to make any additional feature statements.
We share your desire to have “the great unification†happen as soon as possible, as it will make the lives of both developer and customer a lot easier. However, this map update is long overdue and will need to be completed before that can happen. We are still looking at this being completed by the end of 2016.
 
All in all, this is going to be a pretty extensive update to the map and we think will breath some new life into this region for both past and future missions. Best of all, we are providing this extensive map update for FREE.

Mas información de Wags sobre el mapa del Caucaso en 2.5, la resolución de las elevaciones han sido aumentadas a una media de un 400%, por lo que han desaparecido casi todos los bordes afilados de las montañas, se han añadido colinas mas detalladas, crestas y laderas y nuevos sitios en las tierras bajas. Se espera una nueva remesa de imagenes en las proximas semanas. Esta actualización del caucaso seguirá siendo gratuita y se espera su salida a finales del año 2016.

A little update... today the Caucasus map for DCS World 2.5 had its terrain elevation resolution increased by an average of 400%. This has eliminated almost all sharp edges to the terrain; and it's added rolling hills, much more detailed ridges and mountain sides, and provided many new places to hide down low.
 
I'll try to post some images in the coming weeks.
 
Yes, this is still a FREE upgrade planned for later this year.

los cañones y cohetes no estaban presentes en la beta, si se ponian era posterioremente, han sacado la versión estable, por lo que le pueden seguir añadiendo funcionalidad como han hecho en otros modulos que tambien son release.
