Hello,

 

As suggested by Wags, here's my call for help.

 

The french attack helicopter SA342 Gazelle project is planned to stay "freeware" and is on the way.

I need every document you may provide (drawings with measurements would be cool, pilot manual, everything could help...)

Concerning DCS specific 3D design, evrything concerning files structures, collision model, etc...

The max info I get the best it will be.

 

I already got blueprints (hard to use as usual because of the distorted pictures), lots of walkaround photos, datas from "Armee de terre" site, some published docs, and some info from the ED Wiki and from here.

 

If you have any specific Gazelle doc, please share.

 

At the moment, I'm mostly working on the DCS mod install with dummy model. The main lod 3D Design is in the works too.

 

As soon as I have something to show it will be here.

Estos no son DCS, son terceras personas a las que DCS les aprueba proyectos.

DCS trabaja para proyectos profesionales, lease militares y otros terceros los que le dan sus mayores indices de financiación y ganancias. la simulación como DCS:W y anteriores (lease entretenimiento) es solo una pequeña parte de su campo de acción. Simplemente hay que remitirse a su lista de dichos productos:

Solo clientela militar

- Puesto de control de torreta FLIR del AC-130

- Puesto de control de UAV

Convertidos en software de entretenimientos por autorización de los clientes:

- Ka-50 (simulador del ejercito ruso)

- A-10C (simulador para la guardia aérea nacional de estados unidos)

- P-51D (A Fighter collection (sus patrocinadores))

Otros proyectos profesionales en curso (sin confirmar)

- Mil Mi-8/17 (un video e información dispersa por la red, se habla de proyecto privado o militar)

Mientras el roadmap de este año se ha complido casi en su totalidad (Solo falta Nevada/EDGE), veremos lo que nos espera este año que viene. Y por supuesto, se habla del futuro F-XX

Sammy, I flew the gazelle with the ka-50 fm and cockpit a long time ago, even played the medvedev campaign with the gazelle, firing hot missiles and gun.

Since I flew the gazelle with its own cockpit, I can't go back to the ka50 cockpit, it would be so much frustating.

As a small update I should say the engine starting procedure is working as it should (with the gauges, levers and buttons working) and half the whole functionality done.

I'm dealing with the flight model now.

The targeting system was not done at the moment of the videos, so the HOTs fly ballistic...

Oh, Would some of you have photos of french gazelle pilots suited for flight to share, any else country will do too, soon the Gazelle will show a brand new 3D cockpit entirely remade plus HD pilot and copilot

Hi,

 

Weapons Step 2 : Feature for the pilot to fire gun or HOT missiles (for playability)

Feature beeing activated/Deactivated in Options screen

Gun reticle is not movable and HOT missiles are fire and forget style for the piot

 

Next step will be the same for the copilot + TV screen + commands + gun slaved to the target + missile guidance during its flight to the target
