We are pleased to announce the formation of VEAO Simulations Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company registration number 08478742.

 

The formation of the company allows us to market and sell our products and consultancy services.

 

With the advent of selling DCS:Hawk and other products we felt it prudent to set up the new company.

 

VEAO Ltd was set up as a not-for-profit company for a multitude of services in the past and the company has been dissolved (closed).

 

We are currently transfering all contracts and NDA's over to the new company.

 

We have also attained www.veaosimulations.co.uk which will provide the backbone for all of our products; including the e-commerce shop, licencing, Mantis bug reporting, testers support, to name but a few services.

 

We will be updating the web site shortly to give a more interactive experience with our products and I will announce when this is ready.

 

This moves us to the next step of being able to sell the products to you and another milestone in our development plan.

When I submitted the questions, I was surprised at some of the answers we received too - and excited! The possibility of a tanker and the future WW2 platforms is pretty cool. Of course, I'm a button pusher, so I'm positively salivating about the Typhoon. Bring it on!

 

And as a big fan of realism and training type stuff..I think the Hawk is going to be a big hit with both single players and online squadrons.

 

Exciting times ahead.

Announcement: DCS Warbirds Collection

 

VEAO Simulations Ltd, London, 22nd April 2014.

 

VEAO Simulations are pleased to announce that we are in contract to develop the “DCS Warbirds Collection†for the DCS World flight simulator.

 

For the first iteration, the following aircraft modules are being developed:

HA-112 Hispano Buchon

Supermarine Spitfire Mk XIV

F8F-Bearcat

Curtiss P-40F

 

All aircraft will have the External Flight Model (EFM) and Advanced Systems Modelling (ASM) to DCS fidelity standards. As with all of our modules, we will develop these aircraft to military specifications.

 

The modules in the collection will be released separately, as they are developed, and will be sold for $39.99 each.

 

We expect the first module to be ready at the end of this year (Q4 2014) with the remaining modules expected for release up to Q2 2015.

 

Future aircraft in the collection are being discussed, as well as terrain maps, and further details will be announced at an appropriate time.

 

A separate team is working on these modules which will not affect development of any current module.

 

We would like to thank the Fighter Collection and Eagle Dynamics for their continued support, as well as you, the community, for the overwhelming support you give us.

No, el Short Tucano es el entrenador avanzado actual de la Royal Air Force, paso previo para entrenar en el Bae Hawk y entrar en el curso de reactores.

Lo decía por el mero hecho de las hélices. Pero no sabía su historia gracias!

Sigue habiendo la diferencia de que el Short Tucano (versión construida bajo licencia de Short del Embaer Tucano), es un Turbohelice, no un aparato de pistón como el P-51D, posiblemente permita la apertura de los Turbohelices dentro de DCS: W y quien sabe si el sector civil. Todo aparato tiene su función, por la regla de tres de "diana de tiro", el DCS: Tanker que también planea o cualquier aparato civil tendría que entrar dento de "dicha" categoria, pero no es asi. Este aparato, junto a otros está encuadrado en los planes de curso avanzado de reactores planeado por VEAO (primeros pasos en su pagina web), en el que se comenzará con el Grov Tutor para instrucción basica, siguiendo con el Short Tucano, el Bae Hawk y cualquier reactor subsecuente (Eurofighter, Tornado, etc).

Bueno sí, pero bueno ya me entiendes yo es que soy muy de A/A y le veo diana a todo, aunque donde este un mig-21 ó 31 que no se ponga nada .

nooooooooooooooo, el  el tucanooooo¡¡¡¡¡¡,  es como nuestro "Pillan" un docil entrenador capaz de  realizar cualquier maniobra por exigente que sea esta,yo quiero trabajar con Veao pero como tester de este maravilloso aparato, si lo hacen bien este será el entrenador del mañana
