Despilotándome!!!!!!!

Ahí va una respuesta de "Bravo" que al parecer es piloto real, bastante en la línea de lo que le comentó 3Balls a Drakko, creo que por privado, y que luego nos comentó por aquí:

I think this is looking very interesting and if you dont mind Ill try to describe in my own words what I think your after and I would like to throw in some ideas and lessons Ive learned going through alot of international training.

If there are squadrons, wings or the like, that like this idea they could join up and become a part of this and send their pilots to this kind of training.

Those that complete the course and wish to be on as instructors could help out and that way you would get the mix from different wings/squadrons in the training, always getting new inputs.

But at basis you need something everyone agree upon.

Since the level of strictness and trying to be as close to real is different in the different squadrons,

Have an attitude that's polite but as everyone are grow men/women that are studying or having a conference.

not to much discipline but still everyone should be expected to do their part and that should also be in their best interest as participants.

Its voluntary after all.

They can then apply this as needed at their home squadrons and little by little a standard will emerge but with local differences which there always will be.

Now why would everyone want to invest time and effort in this?

As several of you pointed out, BMS community is growing closer in more inter wing operations flying with a lot of different squadrons on the massive campaigns.

If a majority of the squadron has a common understanding of planning, mission execution and what to expect of mutual support to a common goal like you have in these bigger games then we need to train together.

A standard training like this simplifies this a lot, it allows for a standard in general planning and mission strategic execution and still every squadron may have different tactical procedures.

Now how can you make this accessible to the majority of pilots time wise?

We all live rl and don't always have the time for this.

So here is some ideas, though Im sure someone here already has some better Ill throw it out there.

So basically make smaller courses maybe 1-3 hours per modules.(or weekend courses)

Make them so that they dont necessarily build on each other but are independent modules.

and a forum where instructors can post when they are able to host these modules and a sign-up list.(max participants per class?)

once all modules are passed, maybe once/twice a month have a "graduation" exercise at the required level so they can demonstrate their skills.

These could even maybe be open games? having the lead slots; Package and flight for the course participants and everyone else can join in for the fun?

and those that have yet to complete all the modules can join in as well and learn even more from the experience.

Why do it like this?

Repetition and interaction is how many of us learn the best.

By demonstrating our skills we will know that we are on the same page, which is what we are after right?

We all choose our squadrons after how we like to fly, and if we like to relax, try to be hardcore and so on.

What this gives us, is a opportunity that when we combine these guys from either side and fly in a coordinated ops against other humans and they in the same way against us.

We might function better as a unit on each side making it more fun for everyone.

That being said, I think it needs to be tailored to BMS and not to real life courses that do the same, so that instead we ask the questions;

How does these principles apply to BMS?

What must they know to make this function in BMS multiplayer?

What must pilots in BMS know to function better with other pilots?(Use of Data link and if not use A/A TACAN and Bullseye etc)

and so on.

I know that the level of the participants from different squadrons(in my case nations) will vary, this is something Ive seen on all the courses Ive been on with work.

But as long as its thorough and there is a positive attitude and the will to succeed I think this will come along nicely.

I hope Im not too far off what you were thinking and that it might be of help or that I might be of help.

Best regards

Bravo
