1.2.3 Update
After implementing further changes / improvements to 1.2.3 network play, we have solved several issues; however some instability persists (it seems particularly with the FC3 aircraft). The team will now evaluate this weekend's test results and prepare a new internal test version later in the week. Like you all, we hope the next build will provided the network stability we all desire.

Minor update on things:I've decided to "pause" my work on my next video because there are some very interesting features coming for Flaming Cliffs 3 that I want to include in the movie before i continue working on it. One such feature to be mentioned is the fully rendered 3D cockpit for the Su-27, and I know alot of people would want to see that, and I think it would be nice to include for the movie.
Personally I wish I had this movie completed over a month ago, but seeing as FC 3 is still in its beta stage, why rush it?
I have some very interesting stuff which I am going to try to achieve with my future projects, so hopefully that stuff wont dissapoint.
Thanks again for all the support guys. I've said it a million times before, but once these 2 projects I have on my timeline is out the door, it's time to shift gear....and replace some components in my pc!

1.2.3 Update
Over the weekend we had extensive networking testing of 1.2.3, but despite improvements and fixes to the network code, an unacceptable level of network instability remains. As such, work will continue on 1.2.3 until we believe the network code has the stability being demanded.
The primary culprit appears to simply be the massive increase in data now being needed to be shared due to the the growth of various modules and features (CA, FC3 aircraft, JTAC, etc).
The good news is that we believe the force feedback stick issues have all been resolved.

That an 18C is coming has already been announced.
As was the Su-27SM and F-15C.
What is NOT announced is which order and which one(s) is made by ED.
Do you know for how long a typical game project goes without being shown nowadays? I know one game that started development in 2007, reached playable code in 2011, yet what's made public is pretty much nothing - except that it does exist as a project...
